Hi, Schoolmates, Almost the whole class took part in the play "Romeo and Juliet". Some were main and supporting charactors while many worked in the stage crew. Mr. Bernie Anderson was in charge of the play. There were a few scenes, each scene's Romeo and Juliet were played by different classmates. I remember in one scene, the character Romeo was Warren and the character Juliet was Bettsy. I could be wrong for it has been 37 years. The other characters were Annie, Raymond, Betty Hugh, Christine Chong, Ray, Yim Yu Hang, Chan Suk Han, Ronald Lau, Anna Wong and many others whose faces I remember, but not their names. We worked very hard and put in many after school hours to produce this play. Mark Leung, Chow Yuk Wah and Yung Kit-chee will probably have their share of remembering the play. I only designed the costumes, helped to sew some of them and scheduled the rehearsals. In Form 3, we had interclass drama competitions. Our class did the Funeral Home/Undertakers, it was a comedy and we got first place. Chan Kai Wah, were you one of the undertakers? Someone gave us the story lines and we did it without teacher's guidance. We had so much fun in producing it. To the 4th and 5th Arts classmates: we were champions in the interclass athletes competitions. I have those champion banners with your signatures on the back of each one. My mother saved these for me while I was in the States. She brought these to me in 1991. Lo Chi-keung, you can look at them if you come to visit me in Nov. Take care! Lau Wing-kay.
